Fishing Report: Hagg Lake second trip Mar 7th

Decided to make a second trip to Hagg Lake since last trip was so successful. Had my friend Chad and his son Rylan join me. We were using small spinners and spoons trolled behind the boat with no weight. The action was not as fast as last weekend, but we still managed to catch about a dozen trout, one of which was 25” another 21”. These fish sure are fun on light spinning rods set up with 6 pound test. Good practice for the upcoming spring Chinook season. I am anxiously awaiting good ocean conditions so I can go in search of ling cod, sea bass, and dungeness crab.
