Camp Chef Explorer Stove ★★★★☆

This was purchased to serve a couple needs. Our single burner we used for crab pot cooking was low to the ground and rusting apart. We also wanted an outdoor stove for cooking while traveling in the RV. This little gem was on sale at Cabela’s for <$80+ free delivery,.

It is working well for us crab pot up higher for cooking. We also have the optional griddle / flat cast iron optional for one burner that allows for grilling and frying.

Pro’s

Con’s

Could use a longer regulator hose, little flimsy on the tie in to the stove or I would have already changed this to a longer hose.

Does have small wind break but not enough for the winds at the coast, blows out on windy days.
