New addition to the FishnSleep family
Follow our Sleep Blog to see where we go, stay and the local attractions. There are so many styles, brands, layouts of RV’s on the market hard to make the decision. They seem to have something for everyone.
For us these were deciding factors:
All season insulation we plan to use year round and wanted the comfort
No at home kids traveling but wanted the option for fishing crew and some adult guests on occasion, so larger bunks that fit adults was on the list.
The bunks also provide some awesome storage accessible from the outside with a large door and the bottom bunk will fold up for more storage. Seems like you always need the storage.
Preferred to have the secondary sleeping area on opposite end from our sleeping area.
Large dinette that very comfortably seats 4 without elbow hitting could sit 6 and be a bit snug like most the dinettes we have seen. Bonus it folds to an adult size length bed. Really don’t know if we will ever use but nice to have the option.
Had to fit on concrete pad next to house, could have done another couple feet but did not want to move the garden shed and this seems to work well for size. Full outside length 25’
Really wanted a recliner option for the wife, but could not quite get it all in the space. Found that having an open concept with the bed open to the area allowed for a bed top memory foam reclining seat.
A decent size bathroom with good size shower, unlikely to use much when the RV parks have roomier options with longer hot water. We use the shower for the closet, easy set up and break down with an A-frame clothing rod with hanging shelf’s.
Wanted used to avoid the large up front depreciation hit, but sometimes you get impatient when you cant find the right one after looking for a year.
In the end the Outdoors RV 21RBS by Northwood Manufacturing checked the most box’s for our current needs. We purchased our unit at Apache Camping Center in Happy Valley. Apache was friendly and helpful answered a lot of our probably annoying quesitons. This is our first RV. I grew up in many RV’s camping situations, I was surprised I thought I should try it again.
